Zindagi Gulzar Hai stars Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed are reuniting in supernatural romance series, Barzakh. The trailer teases a captivating narrative where Fawad and Sanam take on pivotal roles. The story centres around a 76-year-old reclusive man who invites his estranged children and grandchildren to his remote valley resort for an extraordinary and unconventional event—his wedding to the ghost of his first true love.

In the trailer, Fawad is seen driving through the hills to a place intriguingly named 'Land of Nowhere.' Upon arrival, he encounters Sanam and remarks, "So you're still running the circus around here?" to which she responds, "Who else will?" As the wedding day approaches, the trailer hints at various supernatural occurrences.

A particularly striking moment is when a child questions Fawad about why no one is stopping his grandfather from marrying a ghost. Fawad replies that it’s due to 'fear.' While he believes his father is misguided in thinking he can marry a ghost, Sanam sees it differently. She describes it as the power of love and persuades Fawad to support his father's unusual decision.

Barzakh, a highly anticipated series featuring stars Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed from Zindagi Gulzar Hai, premiered globally on Zindagi’s YouTube and ZEE5 on July 19. Directed by Asim Abbasi, known for his work on Churails and Cake, the series is produced by Shailja Kejriwal and Waqas Hassan.

Barzakh was the only show from South Asia to premiere at the 2023 Series Mania Festival in France. The series is set to captivate audiences with its intriguing plot, emotional depth, and stunning visuals.
